Program Description

Event Details

On the evening of November 10, 1975, the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior, claiming all 29 crew members. The story lives on in Michigan, largely thanks to maritime historian Fred Stonehouse, whose book The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald is considered the authoritative source on the subject.

Join Fred Stonehouse for a virtual talk on this pivotal event and its place in Great Lakes history.
