Healthy gardens start below the surface. Join adult services staff and MSU Extension soil expert Brent Crain for an introduction to soil basics, including common soil types, improving soil health, and choosing the right mix for your gardening goals.
Participants are invited to bring a small soil sample or photo for discussion, and will learn how to read soil test results and make informed decisions about building better soil from the ground up.
